Iran film enters home market

Iranian movie 'Axing' has entered the home entertainment market.

Directed by Behrouz Shoeibi, the film has hit the domestic market of entertainment on Monday, November 5, 2018.

The social drama features a different narrative on how people confront addiction and drug abuse.

"Everyone has something to hold on to," a tagline for the film sums up.

'Axing' is Shoeibi’s third directorial offering after successful movies ‘The Corridor’ and ‘Cyanide’.

The flick has notable Iranian stars such as Mahnaz Afshar, Jamshid Hashempour, Sara Bahrami, Hadi Hejazifar, Negar Abedi, and Amin Hayaee in the cast.

The film had 10 nominations in the 36th edition of Fajr Film Festival in Iran and scored 2 Crystal Simorgh awards at the event.
